Teen magician and magic prodigy, Eli Portala will dazzle audiences with a combination of comedy and magic at the Defiance Community Auditorium, May 18th at 7:00 PM. Eli's show "Magic and Illusion" will benefit the Relay for Life team Fight the Fight in memory of Philip Hoffman. Advanced tickets are $7.00 ($9.00 at the door) and may be purchased at Key Bank, 414 East 2nd St. Defiance. Show starts at 7:00 PM with doors opening at 6:00 PM. Shoot for Food
Sunday, May 27th
First Annual Free Fireworks Show Memorial Day weekend, Sunday, May 27th at Baerfield Speedway. Bring a canned food item or donation for the Community Harvest Food Bank. You can meet some of the Komets Players and get your picture taken with the President’s Cup & Icee. Food And Beverages will be available. Tone Junkies will be playing from 7p-9p and Bounce Houses for the Children are provided by Lutheran Health Sports Center. Pyromaniac Fireworks will be shooting off their top 50 fireworks, see them before you buy them! Everything will be capped off with a grand finale display.
